Customer Service Lead - On Site / Full Time  Irvine, California

Since debuting in the U.S. sandal market in 1972, Flojos has built more than 50 years of heritage around comfort, quality, and the laid-back spirit of coastal living. Headquartered in Irvine, California, we make sandals, shoes, and slippers for men, women, and children, and we're committed to delivering top-notch products and exceptional service to retailers and consumers worldwide. We're now seeking an energetic, on-site Customer Service / Operations Support team member at our Irvine office to help carry that standard forward.

Customer Service / Operations Support

We are seeking an energetic person responsible for overseeing our in-house customer service team and assisting the operations department. This is an extremely detail-oriented position, and qualified applicants must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, be personable, and be quick learners who are adept at multi-tasking. Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience is preferred.

THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION ONLY.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist in all areas of customer service with reps, major and independent retailers, and consumers
  • Order entry into ERP systems
  • Online order processing through multiple platforms
  • Work with the warehouse to make sure orders are shipped on time
  • Work directly with international distributors and coordinate shipments
  • Research customer inquiries and concerns, and respond in a timely manner
  • Assist management and staff as needed
  • Answer phones

Assisting the Vice President of Operations:

  • Creating and updating sales and inventory reports
  • Trade show management
  • Major retailer management
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Possible occasional travel

Required skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • General knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software/hardware
  • General knowledge of EDI and vendor portals
  • Must be very organized
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
