About Cole

Flojos is pleased that Cole will be representing us again in 2017.

Cole had a great summer this past year filled with new experiences, adventures and of course lots of great waves! At the beginning of the summer, he ran a surf contest for the kids around North County, San Diego. It started as an idea to raise money. It supported a skate ministry that he and his best friend Ryan run called Rad Pad Gathering. The turn out, the amount of fun and smiles on the kids faces made it worth so much more than just a way to raise money. They had 28 boys and girls come to compete! The surf conditions were less than ideal but despite that it was a great way to get young surfers together to share there passions in a positive and fun environment.

Half way through the summer he traveled to Indonesia with an organization called Surfing The Nations. Cole was able to surf the amazing breaks in and around Bali as well as do some outreach with the local villages. They handed out donations of clothes, taught English and lived in the villages of Lombok, Nusa, Lembongan and Bingin. It was the ultimate mix of surfing and serving! Cole and Flojos realized how blessed we are to live in a first world country where all of our needs are provided for.

Moving into the fall, Cole will be headed back to college. Along with studying and a part time job, he will be competing in the NSSA college contests for the Mira Costa Surf Team. Cole is excited to be competing once again and to have the chance to be apart of a team atmosphere! Just last week, Cole made it to the quarterfinals in Huntington at stop 3 of the NSSA Southwest College Division.

Next Summer I have bigger and better plans of possible running more surf contests and or heading back with Surfing The Nations for a 3 month long internship!

We are looking forward to seeing some great shots of your amazing adventures and your giving back.
Flojos is very proud of the work you do.

Safe travels and good luck in 2017!
